A Painting….On the Road to Questa

I seem to have painter’s block.  This is the last one I completed and it has been a year.  I had so many issues with this one that I guess I have been feeling that I didn’t know what I was doing.  New Mexico is so beautiful and I have snapped hundreds of photos….ready to be painted.  Just need to take the plunge.

From my experience (as a painter), you need to start prepping. Now. Just go and get your area ready. Look at your brushes. Examine what you need. Look at some old things you made before that weren’t quite finished. Find your fav music to paint by, etc. And before you know it….. YOU WILL BE PAINTING AGAIN. Then, set yourself a deadline to get it finished so you keep your pace up and before you know it, you’ll be painting again every day.

ahum…

We all know the hardest part of anything is getting started. I am not an artist but am an admirer of anyone with the ability. I live in New Mexico and I am aware of the beautiful scenery we have. I would love to see more of your work. I have been linky blog hopping all day today and am amazed at all the talented people I have met. I am now following you and would love for you to visit my little blog and possible follow me back.

I know nothing about painting other than what I like and I like this very much. If you ask me, you are quite a good painter. Do you have other paintings to share with us? I would love to see them.

An impressive share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a co-worker who was
conducting a little homework on this. And he actually ordered me lunch simply because I found it for him…
lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thanks for the meal!!
But yeah, thanx for spending some time to discuss this subject here on your blog.
