Newbie’s Recap

by Permanent Posies on December 30, 2010

I was a new blogger this year and really enjoyed learning the ends and outs of making a website/blog.  I am sure you may have felt this way, but I often felt that I was reinventing the wheel….learning how to place widgets, making blog buttons, designing a header, making and answering comments, making anchor texts and hyperlinks.  Newbie all the way!

So, I thought I would recap a few of my favorite posts.  They were my favorite posts for a variety of reasons and I tried to choose my top five.  These may not be your top 5 favorites and that is OK.  If you want to really encourage me, you could tell me what your favorite was.  :)

Return of the Pie From War

Saving Grace

The Chaos of My Studio

Junk Furniture to Chic

Z is for Zesty Dill Pickles and a Little Zoology

Here is to a Happy New Year for all my blog friends.  Thank you for reading my posts and thank you for all the precious comments.  Some of you I feel that I know, though I have never met you in person.  I look forward to things with you……house buildings, better health, grandchildren’s visits, art projects, gorgeous photos of places I will never visit, sketches and art projects… and free things….giveaways…oh yea….I open your pages with intrigue and awe at your talent and creativity and look forward to doing so more and more this year.

Happy, happy New Year.  May God bless you richly with His presence and His love.  May His face shine upon you and give you peace and rest.

Steve and Sue

Especially wishing Alphabet Thursday friends a Happy New Year.

I love all of these posts, but I think my favorite is Saving Grace. What a fabulous experience with divine intervention! I’m so thankful your daughter was alright!

I also love seeing your studio. I envy people with your kind of talent. Keep up the good work!

Happy New Year!

What a great pic! Y’all look really fantastic – look at that handsome man standing next to you! 4 kids and bagoogles of grands and y’all still look that pretty together!
Have a great New Year!!
Love you!

They’re all great, but one of your recent posts, about leaving your car running in the parking lot was the one I like best. It was one of those things that could happen to any of us – indeed, similar strange and embarrassing things have happened -and you wrote about it in such a way that you had me laughing out loud.
Happy New Year!

What a great wrap up. I’m new to blogging this year, too.

Happy New Year to you and yours!

Oh, you are so beautiful. What a lovely picture. It made me smile.

I revisted the posts you shared and I remember each and every one of them.

You have graced this meme with your thoughts and presence in 2010.

I hope that continues into the New Year.

Sending you warm wishes for a year filled with joy, grace, adventure and discovery.

Hugs and A+
